This CR310 data logger is a perfect choice for discerning measurements with only a moderate number of sensors being employed. The CR310 from Campbell Scientific precisely and reliably records, collects, analyses and shares various types of data. The CR310 ddigital instrument data logger from Campbell Scientific comes with a myriad of uses, functions and flexibility, such as measuring and recording climatologic elements with exceptional accuracy and stability.
CR310 is a low-powered data logging device compatible to smart sensors using RS-232 or SDI-12. Additionally, it can analyze the data before storage and even goes ahead to control external devices, e.g. through PakBus and Modbus.
The data logger CR310 by Campbell Scientific can be operated by using up to 6 single-ended analog inputs (all individually configured), 7 configurable digital input and output terminals. From which 6 include status high/low, pulse width modulation, external interrupt, and communication functions. 8 pulse counters, 2 voltage excitation Terminals and 1 witched 12 Volt terminal. The data logger CR310 supports a variety of communication protocols like PakBus, Modbus, DNP3, SDI-12, TCP, UDP, and others, and others, as well as internet protocols like Ethernet, PPP, RNDIS, ICMP/Ping, Auto-IP(APIPA), IPv4, IPv6, UDP, TCP, TLS (v1.2), DNS, DHCP, SLAAC, NTP, Telnet, HTTP(S), FTP(S), SMTP/TLS, POP3/TLS, using communication ports such as USB Micro B, RS-232 and 10/100 Ethernet RJ45.
The data logger can serve as both, as Modbus master and Modbus slave. CR310 also can connect to a SCADA system through a Modbus RS-485 protocol. The Campbell Scientific’s CR310 datalogger is equipped with a high-resolution AD-Converter (ADC) of 24 bit and native data storage of in total 80 MB CPU drive and 30 MB serial flash storage. The CR310 data logger can communicate with a PC via its USB port. Compatible telemetry devices include our RS-485 converters, digital cellular gateways, RF telemetry, and satellite transmitters. Several more periphery and extension modules make this data logger very flexible in scope and application.
By just connecting it directly to any USB port, the CR310 can perfectly be employed for high-precision wind resource measurements, solar resource measurements, weather stations, hydrometeorological stations etc. providing high flexibility, transparency and uttermost reliability and precision at a very fair price.
Extremely charming are the built-in options that the Campbell Scientific’s CR310 could be equipped with, like Wi-Fi, RF407, RF412, RF422 or RF451, GSM / GPRS modem modules and it has a built-in charger / regulator acting as charge controller for the use in remote applications and battery voltage supply operation.
The quality of this device tops off by a warranty term of 3 years.
