Polyoxymethylene (POM) is a semi-crystalline, highly molecular thermoplastic, which is characterized by high stiffness, low friction values and excellent dimensional and thermal stability.
The special characteristics of this polymer, which in many cases can even replace metal, are its high toughness down to -40 ° C, the high abrasion resistance, the low friction coefficient, high heat resistance, good sliding properties, good electrical and dielectric properties as well as low water absorption.
